Winter planting: part two, the onion addition.
Onion Plants!

So a quick update, I have changed my plot plan. After seeing some onion plants at the home improvement store, we bought some, and now I have included onions in my plan. Despite the fact that before my onions didn’t sprout. These are different though, they are onion plants so I just have to grow them bigger than they already are. The picture at the top is a picture of them.

Also I’ve decided to not plant kale. My dad said nobody really likes it, plus I now have 43 onion plants. Now I have a lot of onion plants and a few other vegetables I would like to get a decent harvest from. I also have two old recycling bins that have been spray painted that I can use as garden boxes.

Taking all of this into account my new plan is as follows. I am going to plant several rows vertical of carrots, followed by beets, and then onions. The broccoli will be planted in one of the bins, in the other bin will be the cauliflower. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures of the ongoing project.
